I'm delighted to share the publication of The Meanings and End(s) of Monotheism, co-edited by Josiah S. Bisbee, David A. Burnett, Daniel O. McClellan, Saul M. Olyan, and Emma Wasserman. You can find the book here: https://cart.sbl-site.org/books/140377P
This collection brings together scholars working across biblical studies, early Judaism, and the history of religions to examine the many ways "monotheism" has been defined, deployed, challenged, and reconsidered. Rather than treating monotheism as a self-evident category, the volume explores both its meanings and its limits as an analytical tool.
I'm grateful to have contributed to the project and to be in conversation with such an outstanding group of colleagues!
As always, feel free to reach out for a copy of my contribution!
